Khemi Shabazz

Oboe

 

Khemi Shabazz is an oboe/cor anglais player currently studying under Jo Lively at Trinity Laban and was, in 2014, named the winner Evelyn Rothwell oboe prize. Khemi has performed several orchestral and chamber ensemble concerts at several venues in and around London such as Cadogan Hall, the Southbank Centre and Blackheath halls. 

In addition to her love for classical music, she also enjoys performing other styles of music such as jazz, world and electronica, which have brought her out of the concert hall and into venues as diverse as the Tate Modern and intimate bars and pubs.
